Welcome! Welcome to my new website. I chose this picture because I loved the colors (Gray is not drab. If you think it is, just call it gunmetal.) and the way it feels like a cool, quiet place I'd love to visit. I hope you feel the same way about my website. Please feel free to stay awhile. And while you're here, check out the swan. Cute, isn't he? I can't quite decide if he's looking over at my words with interest or disdain. Either way, I like him. I've decided to name him Sam. You might think there's some symbolism here--something like "I'm hoping my writing will mature into the grace and beauty you see in the sidebar." Hardly. I feel a bit more like the one in the back with his ass in the air. And spend some time talking to Sam. I have a feeling he's a hoot.
